Who, at 15 knew how to invest in their own super? I did. And my job at KFC was the kicker. When other kids my age were saving up for the latest Nintendo I was busy figuring out how to invest my KFC dollars and make more! My interest in finance was further enhanced when I went on to study Finance and Economics at Monash University, graduating at the height of the financial crisis in 2008.

But rather than jumping straight into Financial practice I fostered my national pride and joined the Australian Army, working in intelligence in a variety of settings as well as spending significant time helping army colleagues understand the importance of managing their finances and wealth early on. It was hugely rewarding.

Journey Wealth is run with the same culture of trust and integrity developed through my years in the army. Communication is important to me. Family is important to me. I’m still actively involved in the Army Reserves and most recently offered my services to the Victoria Bushfires of 2020 and Border Protection.
